BSS – Vol 2 Prologue

<Sophia’s PoV??>

To me, baseball is something special.

It was something my beloved father played, and I was greatly influenced by it from a young age.

When I came to Japan at the age of five, I grew up watching the Koshien tournaments held every spring and summer.

According to my father, “In Japan, standing on the stage of Koshien seems to be the big goal for kids who play baseball. From a young age, they pour all their youth into baseball, and only those who make it through can stand on that stage. The energy of the players, the cheerleaders, and the spectators is incredible. It really is something special.”

Naturally, as someone who loved baseball, I longed for the stage of Koshien.

But… I gave up on it right away.

Not only was it impossible for me to become a player, but being a manager was out of the question too, since I was never good at socializing.

So, I chose to experience the stage of Koshien as one of the cheerleaders.

—Though, deep down, I really did want to be a manager.

TL Notes:

Thanks for reading!

I’m assuming Sophia said this… but I don’t remember her being a cheerleader. Maybe it’s part of her past or something. Either that or I forgot.

I’m sorry that the break I took was so long. I was busy playing the new Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. I lost so much Asterite during the banner, now I’m broke for future banners.

I didn’t really have a stable connection at my army camp, so I could only play it during weekends, which is when I usually translate, so yeh sorry.
